Method
- 1
First, take the Beef in a pressure cooker.
- 2
Now add Ginger Paste, Garlic Paste, Salt, Chili Powder, and Turmeric Powder to the meat.
- 3
Mix the meat thoroughly with all the spices. Remember, do not add any oil during this step.
- 4
Pour in the Water to cook the meat, give it a quick stir, and close the lid of the pressure cooker.
- 5
Once the meat is completely tender, open the lid and turn up the heat to dry out any remaining gravy or excess water completely.
- 6
Heat the Cooking Oil in a separate pan.
- 7
Once the oil is hot, add the chopped Onion and fry until they turn into a beautiful golden brown Beresta (fried onions).
- 8
Now, add the previously boiled beef into the pan with the beresta oil.
- 9
To bring out that rich dark color and intense heat, sprinkle some more Chili Powder and Garam Masala Powder over the top.
- 10
Keep stirring the meat continuously over medium heat. When the meat becomes well-fried, slightly crispy on the outside but remains soft inside, add the reserved Beresta back on top.
- 11
Finally, for that authentic aroma, add the Green Chilies, Curry Leaves, and a handful of chopped Coriander Leaves, then gently mix them into the meat.
- 12
Keep it on low heat for a few minutes to let the fresh flavors infuse into the meat, then remove it from the stove.
